Movie Review - Me Before You

Film was
brilliantly made and held my attention throughout. I loved it until then
end. Terrible and tragic ending. This movie left me angry and
heartbroken! To avoid spoilers read no further.
My aunt who is paralyzed from the neck down is the strongest and most inspiring woman I have ever met. If she would have taken control into her own hands and ended her life, so many people would have missed out on the blessing it is just to know her. So many people have been impacted by her, and brought to Jesus because of it. She is not holding anyone back.

For this
movie to imply that those with disables do so is utterly disgusting. I
am angered to even have spent the time watching it. It could have ended
beautifully, with Tim choosing to live out the remainder of his life as
God intended, doing the most he could with what he was given, impacting
others, and sharing his life with Lou. He could have went along side her
through her journey. What an amazing love story that would be about
sacrificial love. Instead, it ended with him selfishly taking matters
into his own hands and taking the easy way out.
I know it's just a movie
but this just made me realize how devastating our world is becoming,
that somebody would think this is an epic romance.
Great
acting. But sad ending. This film gives the message that disabled people
are useless and are better off dead, and it isn't our place to
discourage them from that. I think disabled people have a lot to live
for. This film did a great job of glorifying assisted suicide, and a
terrible job of giving hope to people who are disabled.
